We’re seeking a passionate PhD candidate to develop innovative optimization methodologies for managing uncertainties in humanitarian food operations at Wageningen University!
Project Focus:
- Develop new optimization methods for humanitarian operations under uncertainty
- Address real-world challenges in food distribution during crises
- Collaborate with humanitarian organizations
- Advance theoretical frameworks in stochastic and robust optimization
Requirements:
- MSc in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong background in optimization methods and programming
- English proficiency (C1 level)
- Interest in humanitarian sector collaboration
